As part of consolidating knowledge learnt in school, children will be set weekly homework. Your child will usually bring home a KIRFs/homework book which will have a Literacy or Topic themed task, along with a new KIRFs activity for the week. Purple Mash will sometimes be used to set homework in place of a paper task. Your child will be told if this is the case and they have all been given a Purple Mash log in.
Homework is set on a Monday to be handed in at the end of the week on Friday. It is important that homework is submitted in a timely manner to allow the work to be checked to ensure that children have understood the tasks. Homework should take no longer than 15 minutes.
