Cool Castles and Daring Dragons

Spring 2023

 

This term Year 1 are learning all about Castles and Dragons.

 

They have been working very hard in literacy learning about poetry. They have been exploring different types, reading poems, reciting them and performing them to others. 

 

 

As a class they have created their own poems and have two fantastic performances.

 Welcome to Year 1! 

 

Hello there, welcome to the Year 1 class page.

Here you will find out information about everything we will be getting up to in school this term. 

Year 1 have already settled into the new school year very well and have adapted routines and changes.

 

We have been developing our writing skills by writing labels, lists and captions. 

We have also been exploring painting techniques which has been very colourful and messy!
